I started out as a production assistant. After my first day on a professional set, I was hooked. There was so much going on at once and so much to learn, I had to be a part of it.

"Every department works independently of one another but at the end of the day, collaboration is what makes all the moving pieces come together."
What is your favorite on-set story?

Spending all of August working inside a walk-in freezer set to zero degrees Fahrenheit for a feature film.

The heart of the Film Pin Society is community and camaraderie. Can you talk a little about that?

Working with a team of great people is what makes the filmmaking process worth it. Every department works independently of one another but at the end of the day collaboration is what makes all the moving pieces come together as a whole. We spend so much of our days on set, great people make it all worthwhile

What’s the best piece of advice you can give to someone looking into going into your field?

Be persistent, humble and always ask questions.

What pin from our collection speaks to you and why?

The HMI Light, because it's powerful while still being practical.
